    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very dependant on the desk you were sat at... interns should try and have more say as to which desk they intern at

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Respectful at all times but sometimes unengaging

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Very good and open to questions and very generous with time

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was either extremely busy and left the desk very late, or sat there doing absolutely nothing. I guess this is the nature of being an intern though and it would be difficult to expect a perfect balance

    1/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Good amount

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • No assistance in degree itself but learning curve was invaluable, although quite dependant on desk and time as well...

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Varied quite a bit from desk to desk

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Very well done

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • If time permitted then much personal training was given. At times the desk was too busy to give much attention, which is understandable.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Company Car

    2/5

  • Not enough social events after work..

    2/5
