    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Good support once I began to get to know everyone better, at the beginning I did feel a bit lost.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Fairly busy- I was also given a lot of freedom to schedule own days which was good.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given a lot of responsibility in terms of how to structure my days and what I wanted to get out of the placement which was great.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Really really valuable experience with skills which will help me for life.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Fun and relaxed environment. In the office itself was fairly quiet yet in other places with the team was always fun.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Averagely organised. The beginning steps such as getting informed of what we needed to do before we started and our start and end dates were badly organised and we weren't given any information until very late. I was also placed in the wrong area to I was living so had to be changed twice as they had got my location wrong.

    3/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Quite a good amount. We were all given a full two day induction briefing us on what was to be expected and had regular conference calls and meetings throughout the seven week placement.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • 3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I would love to be given the opportunity to work with them again and would be incredibly lucky if this were to happen.

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There were many intern events organised in order to catch up with each other, and alongside these we were also invited to other social events with the bank as a whole- not just those specifically for interns.

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London is fairly expensive so I have rated it half way as although it's expensive in some areas there are definitely good places to chill and hang out.

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Due to working in Oxford Central I never went out in this area specifically but I live in South East and it is great there.

    2/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Yes plenty and if not we would organise them ourselves.

    4/5
