The Role
A very challenging and interesting placement. It involved a lot of fun activities, range of different experiences that will benefit me in the future.
All of the colleagues were very helpful and friendly, they did not hesitate to answer any questions or attend to any difficulties I had.
I had regular meetings and discussions with my supervisors where I could reflect on my progress and ask them any question that had come up during any work that I was doing.
All of my days were quite busy, my supervisors were always making sure that I had work to do, when will I finish my current task and what tasks will I be doing next.
I had the opportunity to work on a real project. I was supervised along the way and all of my work was reviewed afterwards.
I gained a lot of new and useful knowledge and skills. They will help me in my degree studies in the future as I have now seen a lot of new concepts and technology and used many software and hardware tools that I had never used before.
The Company
The atmosphere was relaxed, people often came to the office with treats (cakes, doughnuts, cookies etc.) and shared a joke once in a while. Nevertheless, everyone was hard-working and serious.
he organisation was at a high level. Everything was planned for me and I knew who to ask/email for the relevant information.
I had training sessions that use technology developed by the company and regular technical talks from many co-workers that helped develop my understanding and knowledge

Company Parties/Events
There is a high chance that I will return to this company after graduating. They have very nice graduate programs for people graduation from university that involve 4 3-month rotations in different departments and projects in the company.
The Culture
We had regular meetings and events (for example, bowling, bike trips, pub nights, movie sessions, pizza sessions, golf sessions, etc.) with all of the summer interns. We had the opportunity to attend an event every few days.
The rent and prices in general in Cambridge are quite high. Nevertheless, sometimes it was possible to find goods and services for reasonable prices. Not very often, though.
There were a lot of interesting places to go out to. There was a variety of pubs and clubs that provided different kinds of music, entertainment and events so that anyone can find what he is looking for when going out.
There were some opportunities to get involved outside of work that were interesting and useful. Examples include charity events, blood donations, bicycle ambulance sessions, social sports teams, etc.
