  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my 13 months at HP

  • I never felt like 'the intern'. I felt like a valued member of the Marketing team. I felt like I really made a difference and was a vital member.

  • a 1-2-1 with my manager bi-weekly. My manager was always in the office to approach if I needed to.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Very very busy. I was stressed and felt like I had so much on my plate. But it has really paid off and being busy made the time fly by!

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I had a lot of responsibility, I was given tasks and left to run with them. At the beginning most of the stuff I did was reviewed before I was confident enough to do things myself.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Learnt to work with a range of different people, their working styles, ages, seniority. Learnt to be disciplined. Learnt time management, how to prioritise and how to stay calm.

  • Lively, buzzing, busy.

  • All sorts of training available anytime. Opportunity to have experience in other departments if you so wished.
