The Role
Unorganized and job less at first but once i found a good project to work on I enjoyed it very much.
Had great colleagues who treated me well & the intern community is a good laugh too.
Had a mentor set up within my team who helped me get started in my job role. Furthermore the Bracknell office has plenty of Global Procurement employees who are all willing to help, especially the Grads (Preps).
Had many boring periods at first due to the lack of work but that picked up and I was kept busy doing tasks I enjoyed.
Had a large $m project to work on with great responsibility, but was guided through the process too so It wasn't all up to me.
Think I can take away a lot from the people around me and my job too. I was fortunate to meet a lot of intelligent people throughout my internship who gave me advice for my future too.
The Company
I really enjoyed working in our office. Our department GP is usually quiet lively with great characters who became friends. Also the intern community with over 50+ interns in Bracknell was great too.
Due to a big Re-Org within my department our job roles originally planned got lost and we were without any real tasks or job at the start of the year for a good 2 - 3 months.
GP was great as they focused a lot on development and training. With HP university their is a huge variety of training courses available to for independent learning.

I would like to come back to Global Procurement because of its people and the great scheme they offer.
The Culture
Great social life!
We lived in Reading which has many students therefore it was affordable and fun.
Great nightlife, many memories have been lost in them.
We had many charity events running on the side.
