The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement and sad that i will be leaving!
Everybody really appreciated any extra work you did for them.
Really cared about my development and gave me the option to look at other areas besides crm. I have also decided to use them as part of my dissertation and they'll keep in touch with me if i need any info.
Sometimes it was busy, especially at peak periods.
I was given a lot of responsibility from the start
I learnt so much things that i would not have learnt in a lecture. Basic things like html, copywriting and picking up small inconsistencies in email designs were some of the things i learnt.
The Company
Everybody is friendly and always up for some fun :)
For Snapfish it was great but HP as a whole i think they kind of forgot about the interns not based in Bracknell.
I had a few training sessions.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
I would love to go into the grad scheme with HP.
The Culture
With fellow colleagues we would go for drinks etc. However as i was based in London and that they 'forgot' to put me on their intern distribution list i never got the chance to meet other interns and felt a little left out.
Based in London with the HP intern wage was a huge struggle but manageable.
Great bars etc but a little expensive :(
As i wasn't put on the email list for interns i missed out on so many opportunities or never heard anything as the main office is Bracknell (where everything happens)
