The Role
Really enjoyed it and got to travel and network with management
As soon as i joined my team i never felt like an intern i was accepted like a full time member
Was very busy during certain periods when events were coming up. However, towards the end i started to feel like i needed more tasks and responsibility as i now knew all the processes well
I was given loads of responsibility as an intern. I was the Marketing manager for the UK in my department which involved liasing with the central team
I feel like the placement was very valuable and has taught me skills which i may never have gained through purely doing a degree.
The Company
Relaxed, social environement. HP have a laid back approach to working which means people are motivated to try their best.
Everything from the application process to the relocation was supported and well organised by the company
I was given opportunities to attend training courses in regards to my department however i may have enjoyed more training for personal development.

I would definietly consider coming back to the company. However i would want to work in a differnet role. I will apply also apply for other companoes as i want to broaden my experiences.
The Culture
There are a large group of interns to socialise and network with. We undertake charity events and social activities as a group.
Not cheap but more cost effective than working in central London. However, the area means you can travel into London very easily.
Didn't go out much in Reading, but for intern nights out it was good.
Lots to do on weekends and places within easy travel distance
