  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • This internship has shown me what it's like to work in the real world. I was given real responsibilities and had a job which was needed for the company to run.

    • From the moment of joining HP I felt fully integrated into the company

    • You would go through some quiet periods with this job but as long as you knew there was something you could get along with it got better

    • With the jobs I was given I had a lot of responsitbility

    • I can honestly say this placement has given me more transferable skills than I could I have ever thought I would get, and more than I learnt at university

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • As I worked in central London this office was very lively compared to other offices within the company.

    • Everything had been set up for me prior to me starting work.If there was anything you needed at work someone was always there to help.

    • A lot of the training was very much on your own after the first month

    • I have spoken to a few people about returning to HP, if the right job was there I would be helped in order to get it.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • There was always a lot of social activities happening at work, whether these were spur of the moment or planned events.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • As I was living in central London the option of going out was there all the time but it wasn't very cheap, neither was the living

    • There was always something happening in London, could never be bored!

    • There were a few things to get involved in outside of work, not countless but not nothing either.
