About You
A very good insight into the law industry but also into Cambridge and Uni life. A very enjoyable experience.
As we were each assigned a different college to stay in, we had an immediate bond with our reps and peers and the college became our home for the week.
If we ever had any questions, there were always people to ask!
As well as learning about law and uni life, we had invaluable sessions on CV's and interviews and the games we played helped us get used to teamwork and presentation skills.
The Company
There was a clear programme we followed, we always knew what we were doing!
Really good atmosphere, good mix of social events with informative events so got to learn a lot as well as make good friends!
They arranged for representatives from the top law firms to network with us and run games/skills sessions with us! We could learn a lot from them!
It was more a programme to understand the industry rather than the job itself but we got a flavour for what it would be like to study at Cambridge.
We got understand the Cambridge Culture well but not necessarily a specific law firms culture.
You either left loving or hating law.
Everything Else
We had to pay for the accommodation and food within college.
Lots of opportunities!
We had quizzes, debates and plenty of time to organise to meet up with people ourselves.
You could get involved in lots of societies at Cambridge.
definitely!
