    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • To very far extent,I feel as if I gained a huge amount from the insight experience it taught me about university lifestyle and how life may be as a student as well as how to handle myself financially and socially. As well as the application for a very prestigious and upper-class school such as Cambridge also

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • Considering the fact I was only on there on the type of summer school experience program it made me feel that I wasn’t getting my full exposure to the uni and was only available to allow a limited and restricted time and experience however asked to feel like I gained a significant and substantial amount of knowledge and experience of the University

    2/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • During the entire program of insight I feel like I was completely supported and surrounded by a Range of different types of students and young people as well as alumni who gave me insight into the school lifestyle and experience as well as how to make the most of my application.

    4/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I feel like my experiences at the University has given me understanding on how I shouldn’t view higher targets and prospects as unlikely or something that’s hard to achieve more as something that is achievable and attainable. By this I’ll be able to view every goal as achievable in order to reach my fullest potential!

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The structure was quite basic so in that sense it became quite understandable and simple to follow this meant that I could make the most of my experiences as well as made the most of the time that I was going to have there. This enabled me to have further understanding to what uni can be like

    4/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Unfortunately I feel like the overall atmosphere was quite secluded everybody had their own type of clicks which meant there wasn’t as much integration and communication within the group of the people doing the insight program this also meant that you was harder to network with people that you met because you met so many people but at the same time I do think were given opportunity in order to socialise enough to network.

    2/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I feel as if the University gave us further insight and knowledge on how to become successful applicants when the time comes as well as giving us more intelligence into what the atmosphere of the universities like in order for us to make a better and more informed decision of whether to apply at the University or not.

    3/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • I think the insight to did this to a very far extent as it’s gave me literal insights into what life is and was as a Cambridge student to me about the lifestyle that type of commitment and dedications that I mean make as a student as well as in an alumni at the school it also allowed me to speak to current students who could give me further insight on these subjects

    5/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • Personally I feel like the insight program could’ve given us more time to explore the cultures within the University to give us a clear image and a better understanding of what we will be getting ourselves into if we did apply as well given us background information about the overall culture of the University and the colleges within the University.

    2/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • As the inside program gave us more less knowledge of Cambridge at the University at self rather than career choices and career pass I feel as if the main objective of the whole program wasn’t it give us more advice on what career path may suit us but to give advice on what subjects in future you may want to study at Cambridge or whether we would follow arts or a science pathway.

    1/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • As this experience was completely sourced by Cambridge University I feel as if there was no need for reimbursement in anyway as if I did spend money out of my own pocket it was worth it as well as money well spent in order to improve my experience during the insights program.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • I feel as if there were very little available opportunities to network with a range and variety of types of people and professionals as we are quite subject to alumni’s current students and also fellow insights attenders this meant that the opportunity to talk to new people of different career path’s was quite limited and subjective to personal preference.

    1/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • As I’ve said before I feel as if the opportunity is given to socialise internetwork were quite limited this meant that we were forced to not look at any given moment with people that may have been given the course or the lecture or seminar which would’ve meant that we would’ve had to be very brief with any attempts to network with the lecturers or the doctors all the professionals.

    1/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Yes there was many times in which we were informed of current activities social clubs as well as communities which were available in the university for students as well as members of the community this was quite beneficial as it gave more social aspects and social diversity to the University.

    4/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • 100% I feel as if this insight program was quite beneficial to someone of my calibre as I was introduced to a new world of people and professionals if you are quite similar to my background which made my interest in the university as an overall a lot deeper than it would be without getting to know these people who have attended the university.
