The Role
Despite having a difficult period of the placement, the final few months enabled the development and use of personal competencies through audit work and project management.
More responsibility towards the latter part of the placement meant my valuation had increased from where i was at the start, to where i finished.
Training was given, along with recieving help from other colleagues to develop my skills.
This depended on the workload at the specific time. When audit work was available - very busy, when not - not so busy.
Particulalry with the final piece of audit work, i took on more responsibility to help the team progress towards our targets.
Time management, organisational awareness, applying initiative and working with others will definitely be a benefit to take into final year of study.
The Company
Mixed bag, at times excellent, however with the difficult period of "job uncertainty", not so good.
Very well done.
Training was provided, even if a topic area was uncertain.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
This would depend on the department of work within the company.
The Culture
There were a limited number of placements during my time there.
As i live near the area of chester - standard.
as above
not particularly.
