About You
I really enjoy the insight. The structure of the insight is excellent. We have 2 days of technical training including presentations and stimulations to help us understand more about the job. Then we have 2 days of work shadowing in which I experience the real working environment in market division. I have worked shadow with people in trading structuring and capital market. This is an amazing experience as I learned about the technical knowledge as well as the typical day of their jobs.
Totally lovely people. People in RBS are very friendly, willing to help and answer all of my questions.
Through work shadowing I received many guidance from people in RBS. It is like a teaching classroom in which I learn about the technical knowledge such as options, forwards....
I believe that with presentation teamwork skills and the knowledge we get from the insight week. It is very helpful for me in my degree studies and knowledge into banking.
The Company
Very structured. I have an agenda of what I need to do during the week.
It was totally amazing. I love people I met in the insight. We developed friendship through networking events, charity events organised by RBS.
We got the technical training including the speech from professionals and people working in RBS. And then RBS organise a stimulations to help us understand more about banking and cycle of the trade.
I did experience the working atmosphere in RBS by working shadowing with people in trading structuring and capital market. I understand their role in a typical day and have a chat with them about whether they like being in RBS or not.
By working shadowing, charity event and networking event, I have better understanding of RBS culture and I know that it is the place I want to work
Thanks to RBS spring insight, I understand the role in investment banking, everyday job and first hand experience. Throughout this experience, I know that it is the industry I would like to follow.
Everything Else
