  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was very informative and the time passed too quickly!

    • Everyone I dealt with at citi was extremely friendly towards us and didn't make me feel like I was an inconvenience!

    • There was always people there to talk to if we had any questions.

    • The information was more focused on assisting us with decision making for career choice. It will definitely help with interviews.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • The insight was excellent and a very varied programme consisting of skill sessions, presentations, networking, work shadowing and interviews. The time flew by as we had so much fun!

    • Everyone was extremely friendly and made a huge effort to take part.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • A session on how to read the financial times was very useful for personal development as was the work shadowing and the interview was useful for the experience even if unsuccessful.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • The work shadowing helped us to understand this but we only had 2 hours of work shadowing. The presentations gave us an idea of a full time role there.

    • In every presentation the employees explained about the company culture... I was able to see how this was put in place by my experiences from work shadowing.

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?

    • The insight gave me an idea of all the different career paths and I now am aware with reasoning, of which career areas I would be happy going into. If we had more work shadowing t compare the divisions this may have made it slightly better.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • Accommodation, food and travel were all paid for.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • There were networking opportunities every evening, and during the days throughout the programme. I have managed to acquire plenty of email addresses!

    • They were excellent - especially a boat cruise!

    • I am quite unaware of the activities employees were involved in outside of work.

    • Well worth it and met some amazing people!
