  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Excellent insight into the culture at Citi and also a great opportunity to learn about the various division within Citi and how your strengths would suit a particular division.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • Treated with great respect by all, not only those running the programme but also those who work there. Despite how busy everyone clearly was, everyone always made time to speak to you.

    • Always someone to help from deciding which division you might like to go into in the future to giving you directions for the tube to get back to the hotel!

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • Very helpful interview/CV/networking skills developed which I'm sure if it doesn't help me get into Citi, it will most definitely help me with my potential future career in the financial industry.

    • CV/networking/interview skills developed excellently with sometimes one on one sessions.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • I got to speak to analysts who had been through summer internships, graduate scheme and then have just begun their full time career so they gave me really honest and helpful information about what it really is like to work for Citi.

    • Brilliant, the culture of diversity described on the website came to life!

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?

    • I already was pretty sure that I wanted to go into the Private Bank but the programme helped me to understand how this was possible and the best routes within the bank to do so.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • The entire 3 days was largely based around networking and from it I have made numerous, really useful contacts who otherwise I never would have had a chance to speak to.

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

    • There was actually little focus on this, I am personally very interested in the Corporate Responsibility of Citi so when asked individuals who were involved were more than happy to speak to me about this side of things.
