About You
Enjoyable experience. A lot of things to learn quickly. Good introduction to Rothschild and its operations under GFA.
The people were helpful in answering any questions asked. We had exposure to directors.
We had support in the form of presentations in day one, which were useful later on.
Experience will be very helpful when deciding about which areas of GFA/ Banking will be most relevant for me. Also, helpful for future applications.
The Company
Well structured.
Good atmoshpere. People are willing to help.
Exposure to directors, analysts given to interns. The work shadowing sessions were helpful. Would have like to have some active technical skills sessions going through valuation techniques, etc.
Analyst Q&A session helped.
The notable differences between Rothschild and other firms become more apparent. Also, the atmosphere was slightly different to traditional banks.
Helpful for the future.
Everything Else
Reimbursed for travel (and accommodation).
Both graduates and directors.
Relaxed. Although not much time was given to talk to the directors because of the "speed-dating" style of the networking event.
There was mention of sports, and other clubs.
Good introduction to Rothschild and financial advisory.
