    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Throughly learnt about the organisation and what they they stand for and how they market themselves to the general public

  • I was included in all of the team meetings and conference calls within my team.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was told what to do, however had to find out how to do it myself, but this gave me a good chance to learn.

  • It varied dependant on the day, Fridays were very quiet.

  • I managed my own time and tasks.

  • What I learnt on this placement I would have never gained from just studying my degree alone

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • There was a good atmosphere with lots of laughter, it was a very loving and helpful environment to work in.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • It could have been better, but nevertheless I did learn lots when I was there. There was also time for training which was beneficial to me.

  • Yes, during my year there I had around 7 trainings in areas which I wanted.

  • Very appealing, I managed to get a full time offer once my studies have finished.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes, there were work drinks every Friday!

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I lived at home, however the drinks and cost of socialising did become expensive

  • Not too sure, just stayed for drinks then made my way home.

  • None that had formally been planned - you had to organise these yourself.
