The Role
Highly invaluable experience that demonstrated, excellently, the prospect of work in the city in one of the big four.
Highly valued. Treated like a colleague. Given challenging work as would be provided to a trainee associate
Very good support network and objective-setting scheme to help realise goals and potential. Informal meetings with managers also helped to drive future prospects with the firm
9:30-17:30 job. Relaxed atmosphere with perfect balance between work and casual chat.
Responsible for completion of various documentation required for audit of the firm's client.
Skills useful for future career in accountancy and with the firm. Little relevance for degree studies. People skills gained useful for life in general
The Company
Not dull, busy at times, but there was always an opportunity for a chat.
Very well organised. Clearly the product of extremely hard-work and dedication by the recruitment team.
An entire week of training and induction to help with work. Continual learning days throughout the internship.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Highly lucrative graduate scheme. High investment by the firm in each individual. Great work environment.
The Culture
Went out a few evenings with fellow interns.
N/A: lived at home. Socialising was great (central London) but quite expensive.
Awesome - central London!
Nothing organised by firm, but opportunities to enjoy London nightlife with fellow interns.
