The Role
It was really insightful, but I did it more for a CV filler rather than personal enjoyment. It was exciting getting free lunches though and being in a office -- really good networking too
Everyone was so friendly and actively tried to get to know you on a personal level, fellow interns were a good bunch too and I added most of them on facebook
Loads! We were given so many presentations on CV guidance, interviews, career paths etc..
Not that much, it was a week of presentations pretty much so our time from 9 - 5 was full, however there was lots of breaks between presentations and a chance to grab a (free) drink and some nibbles
Not at all, we just sat there for a week doing games and listening to company presentations. No responsibility at all
Really helpful, I know so much about the top 4 operations, I've made a few contacts and just the knowledge will help we build up a career so much
The Company
It was a fun fulled week, lots of games to keep us entertained and quite a bit of banter between us interns! The week was aimed at us having fun to associate it with the company to get us excited about internships :)
Really well structured, everything was planned out -- we were put up in a hotel, had lunch every day etc.. and then our time was all planned and we were given an interary beforehand
Loads! The hole week was geared towards our personal development and the firm got people from all sort of senior positions down helping us
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Got an internship for next year :)
The Culture
Yep, there was so many jokes and we bonded so much in a week!
Everything was on expenses, so it was all free :)
We were put up in a London hotel, only a few of us ventured to dear out midweek for a night out, it was awesome!!
Not really. We were kept seperate to the rest of the office since it was an insight program, so we couldn't really get involved in after work activites. However, there was lots of stuff arranged for us
