The Role
It was good fun, my first experience of real work. Lots of after work activites, getting pay slips and free food :)
The team was all really friendly. I was really worried and scared at first, but by the end of the first week everyone had made me feel so settle and friendly I was going to miss them over the weekend!
He fired over work through emails and then I'd normally find him for a few mins just checking I understand what he wants
Really quite busy actually, I had my own work and then various people in the team use to try and shift work onto me so they could chill out a bit
All the work that was handed down from various team members was obviously pretty important work, however I'm sure everything was then checked over
Really good - IT skills have shot up, along with my CV having more justification for good IT skills CV obviously boosted The work helped extend my studies to real life projects
The Company
Everyone was really friendly and really chatty. Some people were away on my first week when I was getting introduced to people, but they all came over and introduced themselves to me
The work was stuctured, and lots of people in the team handed work down to me Induction in the first week and company drinks on my first Friday
Not much really, just a few induction presentations and then mostly working on the job
Company Parties/Events
Got a job offer with them and lots of contracts :)
The Culture
Everyone in the team use to go out and get smashed on Friday, it was awesome!
Sheffield is so cheap!
Sheffield, so there was quite a few clubs but all the students were on summer so I don't think it was a busy as it normally is
There wasn't many team based acitivites, but you make friends in the firm and then go out with them
