The Role
Really good fun, the team was really friendly and the work was like getting paid to do courseworks!
Everyone was really nice. I would bump into someone making a coffee in the kitchen and they would stop and have a chat with me, checking I was getting on well. I was invited out to tag along to peoples nights out too
My manager would explain everything to me really well, then team members would happily help me out if I was stuck on anything. You are not left stranded on your own on anything
Alot of the work I was doing was non urgent projects, so it was a case of I'd just plod along with things at my own pace. I was trying to impress, but it wasn't like my manager ever really set deadlines I'd just go over when I got all the work done
I was running and create a lot of spreadsheets, to provide data and analysis to other team members, so it felt like I was an important part of the team :)
Alot of the work I was doing was similar to university courseworks, but it was a really good experience working somewhere, at a desk with a telephone and being in a proper office -- this will aid me to hit the ground running when I'm doing an internship
The Company
Everyone was really friendly and seemed to get on. It was alot like sixth form with lots of couples in the office and quite a bit of gossipping!
Really structured, everyone had left their sort of basic projects for the month before I came in, so I had lots of work to do, but it wasn't too indepth that I was able to do it all
Really well, there was quite a bit of training and my manager and coworkers would sit down and explain everything to me frequently so I was learning what the work I was doing went into the team's work and goals

They don't have space for graduate positions, but the experience will really help me with interviews
The Culture
There was lots of team based activites - quizzes etc. However I was the only intern in the department
London so it was really expensive!!
London so it was really fun!!
Socialwise yeah, there was loads of team bonding actives on, or members of the team would invite you along to things they were doing with their friends
