  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I was based in the international private bank, and worked with a fantastic team who supported me throughout the internship.

    • There was always someone available to help me, even if it was not my direct manager.

    • As well as doing daily tasks and projects given to me by my line manager, I also had a group project to complete, dealing with a live prospective client, so this kept me quite busy.

    • Being in a professional environment I learnt a lot, not only about the role of a private banker, but more about myself, that can aid me both at university and in the future.

    • There were a couple days for the initial training programme, to ease you into your role and there were talks and networking sessions regarding the various aspects of the business. You also have access to online training.
