The Role
would have never went back to uni if that was an option
very welcoming work force that were always on hand to help
always made himself available to help or even just to chat about the placement in general.
although there were days when i was very busy i never felt over-whelmed, and if it was quiet there was always to be getting on with
my role went on a project to project basis so some projects i had a lot of input in but at the same time there were projects ongoing that started before my placement started so i didn't have any input in them.
i learned more during my 5 month placement than in my previous 3 years at uni!
The Company
it was a bit quiet when i first started but as i got more comfortable in my environment it got a bit more lively, it was still a working office so the fun did have to stop to get work done
considering i was the first placement student for my course and it was confirmed very last minute i could not fault them.
i was trained in several computer programmes while i was there and this is coming in very handy in my final year of uni
i would go running back to them after i have graduated if they would have me!
The Culture
it was a very small office (about 20 people max) and everyone was just lovely! no bitchiness or nastiness at all
not really applicable as i lived at home and anytime there was an event it was covered by the company
it was great! there was always a wee get-together being organised at the weekends.
as mentioned previously it was a small office so there was only so much that could be organised.
