The Role
Really good, very interesting project.
I Was made to feel really welcome which is so important in a voluntary internship. 2 day induction with other interns also helped.
Was given lots of guidance not only with my work but with my future career and personal development.
Varied depending on what else was going on but had plenty to do most of the time.
About right for first job.
The advice and experience I've been given has completely changed the way I look at work and interviews.
The Company
There were sessions run specifically for the interns and a 2 day induction for us all before we started our departments.
Offered lots of training in iterview and CV techniques as well as regular personal development session with my mentor and help on going after other jobs.
Subsidised Canteen
Would work here if a job I like the look of comes up.
The Culture
Particularly in my department it was pretty good. Slightly more difficult with other interns as all are in different offices.
Although my lunch and travel expense were covered, being London it's still quite expensive.
Didn't really have the opportunity to take advantage of it because of getting the train home.
Can get involved with fundraising activities but these aren't generally presented to you, you have to go out and find them.
