The Role
Large range of things to learn, enjoyable team and plenty of interesting people to meet!
This grew throughout the internship and would have developped more, if m,y project was more closely linked with what my team were doing on a day to day basis.
Always available when needed and with large support networks there was always someone to talk to if needed
This ranged from being slightly bored while waiting for IT support, or to get permissions to being very busy when putting in a release or trying to make a deadline.
I was responsible for my project and its progress and how it was approached.
There is so much to learn from a placement, and you pick up skills from plenty of different areas, which you will never forget.
The Company
Friendly, everyone willing to help and say hello.
Being an established scheme, with previous students from the university, the HR team were very prepared for us.
Plenty of chances to go on courses and with plenty of learning guides on the intranet and weekly lectures.
If possible :)
The Culture
Yes! Everyone was very friendly and willing to help each other out. It was a very strong social network.
being in London, it was fairly expensive but you do work out which places to go!
There was always the chance to go to the pub or for a couple of drinks in the evenings, especially on Fridays.
Some.
