The Role
I really enjoyed working at Cancer Research UK, it was rewarding and the people are very friendly.
The report that i did has been taken further and it being used by HR management which is great because the work I have done is actually being used within the organisation. I have enjoyed the work because everything I have been doing has been real work, therefore I feel like I have made a contribution rather than just being given random things to fill my day.
The support and guidance was fantastic. lots of development opportunities.
There was lots to do, keeping me busy which I liked. There were some days where there was less to do but this gave me the opportunity to take my initiative.
I was given ownership of the promotional video and the report reight from the beginning.
I have learnt so many useful and transferable skills such as marketing skills, communication, report writing and so on.
The Company
it was generally quite but there would be spurts of laughter and talking.
The internship was organised well, I was given a schedule which really helped with the time management
I had meetings to discuss the placement and i was offered the training i required and asked for.
i would relly like to apply for the graduate scheme and any entre level roles within the organisation.
The Culture
All the interns got together at lunch everyday and had social evening out as well.
