  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I found it difficult to quickly pick up new skills

    • There was a lot of office politics making the experience sour

    • The support I was given was brilliant and very useful to progression in my career

    • I think this is what made the internship less enjoyable than. Had hoped

    • They helped me build the contacts within the university to obtain a permanent role so I a please that's Applied for the internship.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Tense and uncomfortable as it was clear staff were going through awkward restricturing

    • I didnt' have a proper desk to sit at and I felt like an afterthought

    • Above 25 days holiday

    • I am currently working in the careers and employability as a direct result of the skills obtained at the business scool

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Office politics always took over

    • I commuted over 2 hours to work eachdaywhich made it difficult to socialise

    • Nottingham nightlife is awesome

    • Not with the Organisation no as i had different rights to activities than permanent staff
