  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed the internship and it encouraged me to apply for the graduate scheme.

  • The help and support provided was unbelievable. Much more than I was expecting. If i ever had a problem or a query I knew there were people i could turn to.

  • The help and support was always available however i was encouraged to work and think independently.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • As I wasn't qualified to sell Barclays products I had to do a fair amount of shadowing which meant I didn't always have as much to do as i would have liked.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Again, in the branch I didn't have much responsibility due to lack of training however i had full responsibility for my project.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have learnt so much over the past 8 weeks and feel these skills will help me in my degree and beyond.

  • The branch was always lively and busy.

  • I think the organisation was fantastic.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Most of the training required extended over 8 weeks but I felt that the company would have provided it had i been there longer. The few training sessions i went to were very useful.
