The Role
Very challenging, very enjoyable
Difficult to make an impact, but when you do, it's a great feeling
I was left alone until I asked for help, at which point I had all the support I needed.
Sometimes dull because there was not a lot I could be asked to do due to my lack of experience
As much as I could handle!
This has been a crucial step in my progress from education to employment
The Company
Everybody is switched on and engaged, but sometimes you need to knuckle down and put the hours in, so the place would fall silent
Sometimes people didn't know what to do with me, or information wasn't correctly passed on to me, but everybody was very understanding and easy to talk to
I was exposed to clients and spent time with partners and directors. I was able to ask for help from supervisors and feel I was given all the support I needed by colleagues at all levels
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Score says it all
The Culture
Due to my unusual living situation, I don't think I can give a fair assessment on this one
The pay crossed with my rent for the internship gave me lots of spare cash!
More bars and lounges than nightclubs, but right up my street
Sports clubs, fantasy football, drinks after work, there was a great office atmosphere
