  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I was never in the head office, instead I was sent out to various client sites for different lengths of time so I got to meet lots of different people and work on a variety of projects.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • Very much so, I was never the coffee boy. I was always encouraged to ask questions and everyone helped me complete any tasks that I had.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • A lot of support is given, your assigned buddy is always there to help and advise if you ever need it. Any of the colleagues I worked with was more than willing to offer a hand no matter what it was.

    • Quite busy on average, I always had something to do so was never sat there twiddling my thumbs.

    • A lot, all of my work contributed to the overall project which was quite surprising!

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • The most important skills I learnt were time management and also being able to adapt quickly when meeting different people and working with them.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Everyone I worked with had something to say, there were no awkward silences and the atmosphere was always open to conversation.

    • Very organised, I knew where to go and when every single day and what to expect from it.

    • Not much, I was simply sent out to the client site and just learned on the job from colleagues teaching me.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Yes, all the interns met up on a weekly basis and a few big night outs were arranged, especially when we had all finished.

    • Central London, self-explanatory.

    • A complete array of places to go to tickle everyones fancy.

    • There were things on offer but with working all week solidly not many people chose to do so as we weren't there for too long.
