  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I had an interesting project on technologies that were new to me, and had the opportunity to work with knowledgeable, experienced and clever engineers.

  • I was able to contribute to the projects assigned to me.

  • My managers were happy to give advice and help whenever asked, despite their busy schedule.

  • I was generally fairly busy, but not so much that I was rushed.

  • I was given responsibility in the execution of my project, but not in my choice of project.

  • I had an interesting office, who were always able to help me with problems.

  • There could have been more organization prior to the placement; however, it was sufficient.

  • A training course for interns in my department was organised, which was particularly useful.

  • There was a very good social scene between fellow placement students.

  • Cheap accommodation can be found in Cambridge if required.

  • The nightlife in Cambridge is fine, but comparatively quiet during the summer.

  • TeamARM are quite active in helping local, Cambridgeshire charities.
