    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • With it being such a long placement it had it's highs and lows. But overall was one of the best things I've ever done.

  • I felt like a valued memeber of the team, and office.

  • Some days were slow, but generally I always had some work to get on with.

  • During my placement I led a number of projects from start to finish.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • As this was my first real job, I felt that I developed my skills more within this placement than I could at my whole time at University.

  • Everything from lunch time boardgames to just random funny chats.

  • Very well organised, work had been though out ahead.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Varied.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Hull is a very cheap place to live, and I shared a flat with another placement student which just made the whole thing even cheaper.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Surpisingly good.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Weekly 5-a-side games, managed to break someones nose.
