The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Morgan Stanley and the team made the experience all the better.
My colleagues always did their best to ensure that my voice was heard.
There were numerous times when my colleagues and management would offer their support, whether it was through one-on-one discussions or via team lunches.
There were peaks and troughs but in general I was quite busy.
I was comfortable with the level of responsibility entrusted to me over the course of the internship.
I would say that the abilities to multi-task and manage time appropriately will be invaluable.
The Company
Extremely positive and upbeat.
I have no qualms whatsoever with the structure and overall organisation of the internship.
We had a week-long training session that provided interns with exposure to various financial, accounting, and modelling practices and skills.
The banking sector has taken a hit and employment prospects on the whole are somewhat bleak.
The Culture
The interns were pretty good at taking initiative and organizing social events.
The cost of living in London is pretty expensive but in Canary Wharf, the prices are a little bit more favourable.
The nightlife in Canary Wharf isn't the greatest.
There were several planned activities for the interns that took place outside of work, including dragon boat racing and social gatherings.
