The Role
Good atmosphere, good people, "good" work for an intern.
Very nice people and great professionals.
You rely on your team buddy, should not expect a lot of guidance by management on a daily basis. This does not mean they are completely closed, though.
Investment Banking is always too busy.
Good degree of responsibility given I was an outsider and a complete rookie.
Incredible know-how, industry expertise and very good professionals. It went beyond my studies by a lot!
The Company
Balanced. Sometimes fun, sometimes work to do.
HR did a very good job.
First week of training, training sessions during the internship, speakers... I think they invested a lot! Although some of the sessions were not very interesting...
Subsidised Canteen
Company Car
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Still waiting for final decision.
The Culture
Very nice people from different parts of the world.
IB doesn´t let you a lof of time for socializing, but when it came to it, it was OK.
Canary Wharf is dead during weekends.
Almost nothing. Work is very demanding.
