The Role
Really interesting work I would love to do on a daily basis.
Looked after well by team but felt project may not be too important.
Help was always available when I asked. Training for software available from on site contractors.
Constantly doing work. When I am not working I am thinking about how to solve a problem I am experiencing.
Team are happy to allow me to complete work at my own pace while checking in on me regularly.
Work was really relevant to degree and looks like it will be of more use in the future.
The Company
People sit and get on with work most of the time allowing concentration but conversations regularly took place.
Generally very good. Only problems were with line manager not developing project I sometimes had to speak to other people when she was unsure. Helped with networking though.
Training in computing and presentations were available. Both were very useful. Feedback was offered constantly so I knew what I was doing well/poorly
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Above 25 days holiday
Hoping to get offered a job. I have one presentation to go and I require positive feedback from my line manager
The Culture
I lived with other interns who I constantly talked to. Met up with others for social events. Feel I know almost everyone on my site
Based in London. Live in Kensington, I've seen cheaper.
Pretty good, lots of bars and pubs. Good clubs can be pretty difficult to find though.
Opportunities to take place in projects with other interns. Sport events offered. Dragon boat racing. Events offered at the Olympics.
