The Role
It varied from looking at Wikipedia to working 8-6, but was never boring.
I was definitely an intern, and they knew much more than me, but they helped quite a lot.
Varied from 'go and have a crack' to 'here is what you need to do'. Difficult when dealing with completely new issues.
Varied, but very busy towards the end.
The final report is checked well, and it actually affects the work going on.
Working in an office, in a team and on real work is always useful.
The Company
Definitely a workplace- no running and generally a work filled day.
Overall I had more than enough work to do, but sometimes it seemed like I was left to my own devices too much.
A lot of time and effort went in, but others were sent on courses etc.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Would very much like a job with BP
The Culture
There's always stuff happening on the weekend, from clubs to walking weekends.
Depending on where you go, from £10 to £50 a night out. Rent is quite expensive.
Not very varied, but cheap and cheerful.
Provided you go and find them, there's a lot to do.
