    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very much! My goal was to learn as much as possible, and I did learn quite a lot! Definitely a better programmer than 3 months ago.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My goal was to learn as much as possible, and I did learn quite a lot! Definitely a better programmer than 3 months ago. Having all of your code reviewed is an excellent way to learn. Also, there's a library with loads of good books!

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

  • It felt like they were waiting for me. Everything was set up when I arrived.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • There were a few training presentations during the first week, and I was sent a book on C# before the start of my internship. Most of the personal development happened just by doing new things while working on a project.
