Overview
I would assist the surveyors with any financial administrative tasks they had for me. This would involve making payments, setting up tender comparisons, comparing tenders, measuring completed works, visiting site once a fortnight.
Skills
I developed my IT skills and exercised my time management skills on a day to day basis.
Responsibilities
I was given some responsibility, however more responsibility wouldn't be missed.
Support & Guidance
There was often or not always someone to offer support or guidance.
Culture
The company culture could've been stronger with weekly/monthly meet ups.

I enjoyed my placement as it has really helped with my understanding of the role and wider industry.
