Yes during placement you are sometimes responsible for your own patients who are ill. It teaches a lot about responsibility and importance of planning

The university has always been supportive the NHS could support students more.

It depends on the ward, some nurses are very nice others were not as welcoming.

I always enjoy placement , I enjoyed a&e however did not enjoy outpatients.
