Overview
Planning and implementation of English lessons for primary school children. Working either as support for class or taking the whole class.
Skills
Confidence, public speaking skills, organisation, French language
Responsibilities
To create and carry out lesson plans for classes of up to 30 students is a considerate amount of responsibility. It helped that the teachers would always supervise the lesson
Support & Guidance
I received lots of support as I had a supervisor/mentor who I could contact if I needed help.
Culture
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the French primary schools. Both the teachers and students were lovely and welcoming.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement, if I could I would return to the schools.
Yes
I would recommend living close to the school(s) that you work at as it makes travel easier and allows you to immerse yourself in your environment better.
