    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

    • The insight event lasted 2 days. Day 1 was in-person and involved panels and workshops about women in NatWest and NatWest's purpose. Day 2 was online with a group presentation tasks and current intern coffee chats.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

    • I developed my communication and networking skills. I also practiced my presentation skills. There was a huge opportunity for innovation and creativity for a digital experience in the group task and I learnt a lot from my group members and other groups.

    Business Insight

    • I really enjoyed learning about the different sectors and it helped me a lot because I gained insight into which sectors may interest me and whether I want to pursue a career in finance.

    Culture

  • 4. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

    • Really, really good! Everyone seemed super friendly and it was really refreshing to see that the finance roles were not male-dominated. I could tell everyone was extremely supportive of their colleagues growth and they really stood up to their "Championing Potential" purpose.
