Overview
I helped my team with the preparation of strategy materials for the CEO of International and was involved in the team's participation in the Legal Entities' yearly strategic planning process. On a daily basis, this involved collaborating with lines of businesses across the bank, in different regions, to collate various information and preparing slide decks for the senior leaders to review.
Skills
I learnt to use excel and while I knew how to use powerpoint before, I was able to develop my understanding of how to properly prepare materials for senior leaders of the bank.
Responsibilities
I was given reasonable responsibility and support on the projects that I worked on.
Support & Guidance
I was given ample support and guidance during the internship, I knew I could always ask my manager to review something that I found challenging.
Culture
The culture was incredible, everyone was incredibly willing to help make introductions if you were interested in a specific line of business or just to sit down with you and offer general career advice.
