    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

    • During my internship with the Education for Sustainable Development Network, I actively collaborated with students to produce compelling vox pops, highlighting the significance of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) at the University of Sheffield. This experience allowed me to work closely with the Students' Union, particularly the Welfare and Sustainability Officer, ensuring the alignment of ESD initiatives with the university's broader sustainability goals. I also contributed to the development of a comprehensive educational resource, aimed at integrating sustainability principles into various courses at the University of Sheffield. Through these experiences, I have honed my ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, facilitate meaningful discussions, and drive positive change within an academic setting.

    • Do it, although be wary of the UCU strike action and see if your module professors will be striking.
