Overview
Worked with experienced engineers to keep plant running smoothly, inspected equipment, serviced equipment, and replaced faulty equipment. Completed daily admin duties to record work done and book hours against the schedule. Responsible for raising purchase orders for spares to carry out repairs.
Skills
IT skills, hand skills and communication have all improved as they were all skills used daily.
Responsibilities
Responsible for my own work load, requesting training that would add value to the company and to complete coursework as required.
Support & Guidance
Support was very good, 1-1 meetings carried out every other week so the support was always there
Culture
the company culture was good, was never rushed into completing tasks. The attitude was always focussed around safety and taking the time to learn how to do a job correctly and the implications of poor maintenance on the wider system.

I have very much enjoyed my time with Pfizer. It is a great company to work for with development opportunities, social events and a good company culture.
