Overview
Part of the Marketing and Communications Team. I support both Global Marketing efforts for website updates, campaigns and competitor intelligence, as well as working in the training team, organising and running sessions for the whole Pfizer CentreOne business.
Skills
I have learned: Deadline Keeping, Presentation Skills, Data analysis, website creation, project management I have developed: Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Networking, time and resource prioritisation
Responsibilities
Much more than expected; leading projects and liaising with a huge range of colleagues in many different teams. I lead updates to the main website, as well as being influential in business decision in operation plans for the coming year
Support & Guidance
My manager and team members were brilliant at guiding me through how the industry operates and best practice techniques, while still providing me with the autonomy to be creative and bring new ideas to the space. I was given access to many opportunities within Pfizer to expand my knowledge of the industry and allowed to involve myself in extra-curricula activities. The onboarding process was extremely comprehensive as well, giving everything I needed to get started
Culture
The culture of Courage, Equity, Joy and Excellence shines through in everything, from ambitious targets set by colleagues, and a huge effort on colleague wellness, providing lots of events and programs to support colleagues, such as Wellness Days and Joy hours. The office is extremely sociable, with an open, non-hierarchal feel.
Your Impressions
Massively, I had lots of room to grow and tailor my experience to anything I wanted. I used the Pfizer network to speak and present to a wide range of business leads and areas of the company, as well as visit sites and travel to events. The sociability of colleagues in and out the office defiantly contributed to my enjoyment further.

Get involved in CRG (Colleague Resource Groups) to improve your awareness of colleagues around you and get out of the bubble of your team. Try your best to get into the office as much as possible to connect and network. There is also a lot of room to move and grow once in the Pfizer Network - use it!
