    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • My role involves assisting Relationship Managers, Relationship Directors and Associates in their day to day business activities. Those consist of writing risk statement, talking to clients, liaising with partners across the bank, understanding markets, performing financial analysis and many other supporting activities.

  • I particularly developed my communication skills, my intercultural understand (soft skills) and in terms of hard skills I markedly improved in performing financial analysis.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The company culture was very welcoming, international and integrative. I never felt out of place or not as a part of the common effort as a team to achieve more together. I was very happy with the way this was set up.

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • My placement in this internship was most enjoyable and far exceeded my initial expectations. Having been my first internship experience in finance, I did not fully know what to expect and hence was not too sure initially but my expectations were fully met.
