Overview
On a day to day basis it is meetings with managers and colleagues to get to know their aspect of work and company culture whilst getting their guidance and assistance on your project which usually includes querying data of some sorts, analysis and presentation
Skills
Basic coding and querying data alongside soft skills such as presenting and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
Given a project which is told to have been something they want to develop and will be picked up and used later for development
Support & Guidance
Consistent meetings with managers and friendly help from not only across the team but the whole of Barclays
Culture
Very relaxed and friendly but nevertheless professional and motivated
Your Impressions
I had a great time getting to know other interns and colleagues especially with great networking opportunities and office culture. It was brilliant being able to do meaningful work whilst developing skills.
