    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I get the opportunity to see how a corporation uses interventions and strategies to reduce pay gap numbers while aiding in the maintenance and upkeep of said strategies. I led multiple projects alongside other undergraduate students as well as volunteers from a variety of different business units. I assist the D&I lead in attending and speaking at conferences. I also got the opportunity to run workshops for the initiatives.

  • Due to the fact that I worked directly alongside the D&I lead, I got the opportunity to network with more senior members of the organisation. I was my responsibility to recruit a team of people to aid me with my projects and to ensure we all played our part in delivering on a specific outcome. I arranged meetings with other colleagues.

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to Pfizer
  • Do a bit of research about the company before the interview. Try not to feel nervous about the assessment center, and use it as a learning experience. Explain how your previous jobs have helped you develop certain skills (It's not really about direct experience in the line of work but more about what you learnt from your previous experiences).
