    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I would usually have a team meeting in the morning, then after afterwards I would do any work we needed to to that day, for example doing a site visit, or writing reports, or using excel to produce documents about our assets.


    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • Many general working skills like communication and time management and problem solving. But I also learned how to use different software like GeoRINM (a geotechnical asset software) and Hubble (a vegetation software). I developed my Excel and report writing skills.

  • A lot of older people, not many young people even in their 20’s. But it is a good friendly atmosphere from the staff.
