    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • High level asset management. Improving methods to ensure the performance of the structural asset portfolio. Safety incident reporting. Handling asset data. Refining methods to reduce risk. Site visits: traveling around the country to gain on the ground experience, complete volunteering, and work with other colleagues.

  • I was given the lead on numerous projects, allowing me to work both independently and collaboratively. I felt proud of having ownership and expertise over specific workloads

  • I was assigned a line manager to handle pastoral needs, review progress, set goals. I was also assigned a technical host manager to provide day to day projects and guidance. In addition, I had weekly catch-ups with a mentor on my team to discuss progress

  • Very friendly atmosphere. Flexible workloads and hybrid working environment. I felt fulfilled without being overworked
