    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Day-to-day I would help with any ad-hoc requests that my team would have, whilst during month end, forecast spend each month to ensure accurate practice. Also would liaise with non-finance business partners to help them with any finance queries. Would refresh reports and used SAP regularly to look at invoices.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • I've learnt new skills such as, how to communicate to non-business finance partners and developed my Powerpoint and Excel skills. So improved my presentation, teamwork and communication skills.

Be yourself also, the early careers team is very good at placing people in the right places, so there will be a spot for you, no matter your personality!
